I am just in process of renewing travel insurance but have met a brick wall - due to the number of asthma meds I take - they use a crude judgement related to how many you take to create the policy amounts and extras etc - unless I choose not to be covered for asthma - which is fine until I leave Europe if/at any time...
Anyhow - Lansoprazole isn't for asthma but for the acid which they think in me like many others causes more probs...does this ocunt as a med I need to declare as an asthma med?
What about antihistamines - again don't treat the asthma but do stop the allergies that does provoke the asthma?
The insurance question asked btw is: . How many medicines do you take for your asthma (count each inhaler as one medicine)?
So I assume that the ventolin also has to be included although it's not - shouldn't be - a daily med?
Many thanks in advance - all advice gratefully received...
