pneumonia jab

hi just wondered if anyone out there has had any bad experience of the pneumo jab my other half had it last week and since then we have had to go to emerg doc twice been nebed once on pred and antibiotics had about 4 bad attacks currently having another one emer doc seem to think body might be thinking pneumo jac been assimilated by the body as an infection,docs didnt mention possibilty of this when it was done, anyone else had this? cant belive noone mentioned that it could cause a prob.
