I've tripped over and have 2 grade 3 tears in my rotator cuff, has anyone out there had shoulder surgery to repair this? I'm having physio but my therapist has said the surgery can be very painful and recovery is long. Can't do anything much at the moment as it's so painful Thanks - any positive comments would be great !!

my husband had something very similar about fifteen years ago. No problems. Recovery was normal.

Hi Judy .I've got a rotator cuff too but I've been told it might not be repairable so have decided not to have it done as there is no guarantee. I find the pain gets better and worse from time to time and make sure I take regular pain killers. Have found heat helps too x
