Rotator Cuff Repair
Don't worry I went through the same thing .It took some weeks for the pain to ease off and some months to get my shoulder back to strength.I needed the other side doing as well but it would have meant being disabled for about a year ,no thanks .It will get better but you will have to be patient AND KEEP YOR ARM IN THE SLING !Good luck .
I had a frozen shoulder a few years back and had surgery to remove bone to release the shoulder and it was a good six weeks before I could even move the shoulder pain was bad. I ended up having a bit of acupuncture with some sort of electric things plugged into just get rid of the final pain but it all healed well. Having problems with shoulder now though which is annoying but think it may be from stitching which is my hobby and even though I have OA in my hands I don't want to give it up as the pain is there even if I don't stitch and it helps my mental health. I'm due minor op on left hand on the 9th February. Give your shoulder time it will heal it's probably bruising etc and like they say no pain no gain. Be waited on if possible. Once it settles down it should be good. I know before my surgery in the morning I would cry just moving my head and even sitting absolutely still was agony.
Good luck hope it eases soon try and rest your arm on a pillow so that it's not pulling on the neck and shoulder. Best wishes
Jackie
