This week, we are celebrating World Arthritis Day, which took place yesterday, 12th October.

Our lovely Members and Volunteers Leigh Walmsley and Lucy Morley-Williams share their inspiring stories in our new video, highlighting the importance of our work during a difficult year, as orthopaedic treatment waiting times soared affecting thousands of people. Nobody should face arthritis alone.

I sympathise with needing a hip. I decided to go privately last year having waited eighteen months for my first one. I got to the point of seeing the surgeon in March, only for lockdown to start the following day and the private hospital being given over to the NHS. I actually got my hip done in September thank goodness. Every time I hear of people waiting I thank God that I have now had mine done.
