I have been experiencing inflammation in two of my finger joints for over a week now ..one has got a lot bigger but both now have a purpley blue tinge to them. Has anyone had a similar experience and why it happens? I am new to this and trying to gain a better understanding (I have mctd btw ...arthritis with lupus overlap)

I would suggest that you get yourself to hospital incase the swelling is causing a circulation problem. You may need medical intervention.
