My partner is quite a bit older than me and suffers badly from arthritis and gout in her feet. I wonder if there are any dietary suggestions?

I TAKE ALLOPURINOL PILLS TO STOP THE GOUT , AND FOR ME THEY ARE EFFECTIVE, FOR DIET ,I SUGGEST YOU GOOGLE GOUT AND DIET. THERE ARE MANY FOODS THAT CAN SET GOUT OFF

Hi it's purines you have to watch for. So things like peas/Beans/lentils along with shellfish/oily fish/spinach/re meats and a whole host more.

gout is increased if have poor blood flow in feet as it allows it to pool in the feet.

ginger and cayenne pepper helps in diet.

watch for magnesium sterate in meds etc as a gout causer
