Some peoples arthritis stays the same for many years, others gradually gets worse like mine and some peoples gets rapidly worse so unfortunately there is no definite answer. Try and keep as mobile as you can and at a sensible weight. Do make sure you have at least gentle exercise each day so your joints keep mobile and your muscles stay healthy to support your joints. Make sure you always keep your hands warm and I do hand exercises to keep them as flexible and pain free as possible. Hope that yours gets no worse.x
