Trying hard to stay on top of pain while waiting for my hip operation one month to go. Australian hospital system is so slow. Government always cutting back. People need help get through the system and get home. Anxiety and depression creep in with bone pain something shocking. I am trying to stay cheerful and on top of things. Bring on 6th January and my recovery with a new hip

Sorry also slow system in U.K. I need surgery for 5 joints including both hips and have said No Thank you (at moment) Had back of knee repair and arthropscopy last June and knee worse than ever - and now the other one......
