I have been having nightmares again today. I am more or less housebound and disabled due to the stress of it all. I am going to enrol with my local training centre soon to do my GCSE Mathematics. I am not sure I will be able to cope with the course though. Any advice would be welcomed.

Recovery is such a process and sometimes it may feel as though you are making lots of progress and steps forward and then you come to moments that seem to take you back “there”.
I just want you to know that you can get through this stage, just take it Day by day. Perhaps speak to your GP to see if there is any help available like talking therapies or counselling?
I think it’s a great idea for you to go back to study; this will give you such a sense of achievement and help you put your focus on something else so you are not over thinking past experiences. I think you are on the right track just look into some support...I feel that talking to someone can alleviate some of the stress you are feeling.
I hope you have some friends and family around also. Don’t isolate yourself or go through this alone; it will pass.
Just give it a try and I am sure you will surprise yourself how well you can do.
After all if you go and you find that you are not ready you can always postpone it and try again...but you will never know unless you try.
