now i have been perscribed trazodone tablets on reading the leaflet the side effects scare me

one is swelling of the throat and my throat feels swollen as it is with swallowing something and it got stuck and finding it hard to swallow the other is sudden death is anybody else on these tablets and have you had these side effects

Hi I take 20mg of Trazadone & night to help me sleep. I haven't had any side affects from them. I didn't no about those side effects though

There's a lot of scary side effects with all drugs, and that doesn't mean you will get them.

I understand your worried about your throat, but just keep an eye on it, if it does swell, phone docs etc.

Sudden death, well we sometimes worry about that, but its really rare, allow your throat to heal, try and look at that area with your mind and relax around it. I use an image of relaxation like a flower opening or a still pool.

These symptoms will pass, if you allow yourself.

Hello, i take 150mg at night. Have for 15 years! Did not have any side effects after trying others that did. I find it so scary trying new tablets myself. Now trying escetalopram as well but that s not worked for me. Hope you settle down with it. X
