ssri`s & cardiac arrythmia?

I don`t know if anyone on this site saw a news item this morning about ssri`s causing heart irregularities, I did, & I`m wondering if taking Sertraline 15 years ago could be responsible for my occasional heart jumps & palpitations. Does anyone on this site have the same symptoms after taking these drugs?

Hi I didnt see that , you no I have made my mind up along with googling that when some thing comes on TV that I no will upset me , to turn over , as that is another one of my problems

I doubt very much that something you took 15 years ago would be causing your palpitations , sounds more like what alot of us get , including me due to anxiety & I have never took those meds

If it is going to worry you have a chat with your GP I am sure they will put your mind at ease

Let us no how you go on
