I have just opened a very special vintage port I've been saving (18yrs) for a special occasion to happen. I've decided that the occasion is this year I get not my old self back but a new improved me and want to share my port with you my friends. Help yourself.... Cheers!

think warm lazy Portuguese nights, with sweet aromas in the air, sticky, velvety, nutty, toffee trickling down your throat, that is my port! Makes the blue cheese taste like creamy heaven x

For goodness sake, hollow, it has made my poor old bacon and eggs fade into insignificance. Now you have got my taste buds going for the rest of the day. Plenty of chocs left though. j.

It is also a traditional English drink that is used to celebrate occasions, such as the new year. Port is passed around the table in a clockwise direction to bring good luck to one and all. And good luck to one and all I say!! Happy New year. j.

I live around the corner from crosby, five mins away in the car, i sometimes walk my dog on the beach there.

Fireworks were like bombs!!! me house rattled and so did my bones hahahaha i love hearing the ships at 00.00, thats when you know its new year everyones clock is wrong when they let their fireworks off at 30 seconds to, until u hear the ships then you know to give ya kisses out haha.

So hollow, when is the next party, i missed it the other night, had a cuppa, heard the fireworks and ships at the dock and went off to bed, couldnt sleep like, too many people walking past the house drunk as skunks shouting, why do people go deaf when they're drunk haha. Got up yesterday morning fresh as a daisty, took my daughter to work at 8am, went to some stables to feed a horse that i was thinking of loaning, but cant now, and chilled all day.

The ships horns now that is the way to see in the new year, I tell friends about them and they just smile as they've never experienced it.

Pity about the horse. They are good therapy.
