Hi All. This word, Love, one of the most mis-used in the English language is loaded with meaning. Love can be related to anything. 'I love my country, I love my wife, my children, my home, etc. etc. But this is not Unconditional Love, which is an entirely different matter. It is the expectation that the wife, or home, or children will give me, in return, their love. Now there is nothing wrong in this but unconditional Love asks for no return. It is that, in giving Love, we do so without reservation. We do not ask for acknowledgement or reward. We say "I give you My Love, friend, and may God bless you as you follow your own path as I follow mine". Whatever their path is. Now, (brace yourselves) I feel that, on this site, we come very close to Unconditional Love, because we give freely and without reservation. It must be so or whatever we say will be useless. Without Love the world would be pretty desolate place.
If those who come on to this site do not find Love, in answer to their fears and anxieties, as opposed to just giving advice, then it is all pretty meaningless. Why do some of us feel embarrassed talking about Love? It is because of the connotations that have accumulated over the years about this much abused word. Some are afraid of the word. I notice that someone can say, at the end of a blog, 'Love and hugs'. Why do I still find it difficult to do that? Is it still something I have to work through? Right, I am going to say it, LOVE and blessings to you all. So there! jonathan.
