Hi, Curry223. I have done something similar to you. I am in the process of finding an apartment, and I need my cat w/ me. He is most important in my life, and w/out him, well, it wouldn't be good. I had asked my psychiatrist about having my cat be my emotional support animal, and she agreed I should have him w/ me. She wrote a letter to "Whom it may concern", and put in the letter the reasons I need to have my cat w/ me. I didn't actually apply for this, BC I don't know how to go about it.

Do you know if the letter from my Dr is enough to qualify me for having a support animal? Thanks!

i had the same issue! Try waggy.com they have cheap options for a letter to give to your landlord.

Hi again. I had an appt w/ my case wkr a little while ago, and she said the letter I have should be good for having my cat be an E. S. Animal. If you know different, though, could you please let me know? You said you applied for this; I did not apply, I just have a letter.
