A poem for someone

when you look up at the sky count the stars

count how many of you there are.

when days of rain turn nights to pain

the stars will show

As to call your name

they shine brightest when you step out

to see you overcoming your doubts

they love you more than words imply

and there's just as many of them in the sky

despite their coming, thee inevitable end

The star will never cease to spin

their purpose? just as complacent

than mine and your's Adjacent

they spin. Still, a star will spin

the fire continues to grow within

inside out it'll grow again

inside out it'll brighten and dim

inside out the sun's our kin

all that gaze at the giant afar

should immediately know the power they are

when you look up at the sky count the stars

count how many of you there are.

then take that energy to the world.
