I’m coming off setraline and I feel so bad like I get dizzy not like I’m going to faint dizzy but sort of swaying but I’m not actually moving. My ear rings constantly, and feel full and the pulsing tension headaches, and my arms and legs feel heavy. It’s been over a month now last week I felt completely fine for a full week now I feel like shit again. Is this normal and should I be worried?

Hi Lauren

What dose were you on and how long have you been taking Sertraline?

Sounds like withdrawal Symptoms but this Medication made me very unwell too.

Just 50mg for around about a year, i was tired all the time on it so I decided to stop taking it I felt I would be ok without but this withdrawal man it’s kicking my ass, it comes and goes but I’m just wondering will there be an end in sight?

I hated taking it the side effects were terrible I stopped and I'm now on fluoxetine but my ears has been non stop ringing for about five days now and I also get a whirling sound it's driving me mad.i would contact your doctor about the ringing ear it could be an inner ear infection I'm going to talk about mine.withdrawals might take a few weeks I wouldn't recommend seraline to anybody it really messed me up.i hope your ok

Same with me but it’s already been a few weeks so I’m constantly arguing with myself it’s just the withdrawal you’re fine to no there’s something wrong. I wouldn’t either if my doctor told me this could happen I wouldn’t taken it at all. Hope you are too

I've just been reading about it and apparently fluoxetine can cause it too so now I'm stressed my doctor prescribed me diazepam to help me sleep so the ringing doesn't bother me at night I've never slept so well.ask your doctor for some it will help you sleep at least and you should be ok soon I know it's horrible.
