Stroke or anxiety ? I am scared

need a little more info in order to provide feed back, because i too tried to sepreate the 2, but i was having mini strokes and wrote it off to my anxiety and that was a big no no! i was blessed and got treated in time before major medical problems! would love to help if needed!!

hi there, stroke and anxiety are two extremely distinct things.. you can differentiate the both with major symptoms;

stroke: sudden numbness / pain radiating in the arms, jaw, ear or upper back with a difficulty to speak, confusion and lack of coordination (jerky movements) ..and lemme tell you the pain is very sharp.

Anxiety: excessive worrying, persistent fear and inability to concentrate.

people often confuse the two, however stroke is a medical emergency while anxiety is not.. and the underlying causes for both are extremely different.. say for stroke you might have higher cholesterol levels etc. and for anxiety you might have triggers and excessive stress, disputes.. past trauma etc..
