Has your anxiety changed? I used to never have trouble away from my house or when out with my family but in the past two months Ibhave had three pretty bad attacks away from home. One was with my daughters at a restaurant, one was at the grocery store with my husband one daughter, and the other was shopping with my husband. Thisbis really bothering me because I am getting where I dont want to go out now. I can't figure out what triggers any of my attacks.

Annie, just remember that it just takes but a negative thought to bring on a physical

sensation.. It is not the restaurant, grocery store or shopping in general. The worst thing

you can do is avoid the places you have experienced anxiety attacks. In doing this, your

world gets smaller and smaller and doesn't address where the anxiety came from.

I know Annie because I allowed myself to hide in my home and became Agoraphobic for 5 years. I still got anxiety attacks in the safety of my home and that's when I realized that

the thought within me was causing the attack.

That's what needed to be addressed and not hiding. We can help you with this issue as

many of us have gone through the same. :) xx

I recommend you see a psychiatrist. There are safe and very effective medications that can help you prevent these episodes from coming on.

I also see a therapist and am on venlafaxine and busperone. My attacks are no where near as frequent or as severe as they were. I'm just having them at times they have never popped up before.

Yes, anxiety for some people changes over time. Take a deep breath and question your thoughts and accept that you are anxious this will help to reduce your symptoms. As Bill2020 said visit a psychiatrist and take medications.
