Citalopram headaches

Hi, does anyone suffer with headaches constantly? I wake in the morning with one and then seem to have it all day. I started taking Citalopram 3 weeks ago and I don’t know if it’s that?

Hello :-)

If you did not have the headaches before you started the meds it sounds like a side effect

Sometimes these will go but if you find it doesn't you need to speak with your doctor they may change the meds so you don't have to put up with these headaches

Medication can be so good when you have found the one for you but sometimes it can take a few different one's before you do , hopefully though this will settle :-)

Take Care x

Hi Tashann, this is a common side effect. I also have it. It will go away, my GP told me. May I ask on which dosage Citalopram you are? I am on 10 mg and on day 12 now.
