How old were you when you got anxiety,

Any weirdest symptom that you know since ur childhood and u can relate it to ur anxiety

I think I’ve had anxiety all my life, It just presented itself differently when I was a child and has only gotten worse over time.

I had a phase where i couldn’t eat much solids, I felt like the food wasn’t going down. Now when I try to sleep, when I’m getting close to sleeping, I will sit up and have shortness of breath like I’m being scared. Sometimes I feel shaky as well.

I'm not sure if I've always had it. But I discovered it was anxiety at 32. I'm 37 now, that's when it got bad and I started looking my symptoms up.

I have had anxiety since i was 17 yrs old . I’m now 42 and still struggle with anxiety/panic attacks. I believe i may have had anxiety in early childhood because i always felt very nervous and felt like i was dreaming in large crowds as early as age 5 .
