Advice?

This is the first time I’ve had a cold with health anxiety and I’m not sure how to handle it without feeling like I’m dying. My chest is so congested and my throat is sore and I feel like I can barely breathe. My boyfriend was just sick so he gave it to me, for those worried abt the coronavirus, but I don’t know how to cope w it - without taking loads of medication. I’ve already taken 2 headache medicine, 2 shots of theraflu, and I’m inhaling a vapor inhaler to clear my nose.

I have health anxiety and about two years ago I got super sick from a virus, not sure if it was the flu but I had bronchial problems, fever, etc. I had the hardest time keeping my head straight but what helped me most was keeping up with a routine even in bed. So always drinking water, tea, talking lozenges, vitamins, changing sheets, hot showers, just keep fighting it, worst thing to do is stay inactive, obviously you have to sleep and lay on n bed and you may not be able to sleep but just make sure you keep hydrated and focused on your next move, picture how great it will feel when your fever breaks, visualize your immune system taking over the cold, you can do it.
