Help clonazepam withdrawl

I been tapering 1.5 clonerzapam for 3 weeks down to .5 mg I should have cut in half for 2 weeks but I cut

3/4 one this morning any idea if I should go to half tomorrow or back 3/4 for a week any tips

Hi Eabxj, I would suggest you go and see a doc to learn how to come off meds. What I have done in the past is to reduce a little every 2 weeks. And when it came to the point of the last 1/2 mg (or whatever the minimum dose is), taper that down from every day to every 36 hours (for 2 weeks), and then every 48 hours (again, for 2 weeks), until you're finally off it. This gave me very minimal withdrawal symptoms, (I can handle these). Of course, every one is different, so I would suggest you see a doc and get their expertise on it. Good luck.

Some of it depends on how you feel. I too reduced by a quarter tablet every two weeks and was told it would have been better if I reduced every month instead. I used an xacto knife to cut the tablets like the kind you can get at an art supply store.
