More head pressure
24/7 just had an eeg today and will have a three day one coming up in a couple weeks. MRI and Mra. I get faintness feeling with it. I am on an ice pack right now. No otc med works, fioricet didn’t work. Scared I may end up having to have lumbar puncture. I’ve never experienced this much pressure pain ever is nonstop. Scary. Hope you get answers. No fun living like you feel like your gonna die everyday from it
I’ve had this for a year or more now, always feeling like I will faint because of the head pressure. I’ve got an MRI booked. At the Dr’s today and she’s given me a steroid nasal spray incase it’s a sinus problem
It’s going close to two years now for me. I got the steroid nasal spray (Flonase) two sprays each mare and I did it for two months even antibiotics and nothing. I hope it helps you and gives you relief. Hope all turns out good on the mri as well. It’s horrible and you get the faintness feeling too. So sorry. You should post and if it the steroid spray helps and how the mri results turn out. I hope we can get answers. Had the eeg today so waitng the results. And then in a couple of weeks will be the three day eeg.
Rdiz, I had head pressure for many years called Myofascial Pain Syndrome.
You called it right in that the whole head felt like a contracted muscle.
The are many reasons behind the pain from severe anxiety, poor posture,
heavy lifting, whiplash etc etc.
What happens is that trigger points develop in the upper shoulders and neck
area. Until these trigger points are released it doesn't allow the lymphatic fluid
to flow freely . The results can be that full headed pressure feeling. When I had
that my doctor ordered 6 weeks of physical therapy. The therapist used acupressure
at the base of the skull and I literally could hear and feel the fluid release.
Of course this is not always the case and should be checked out by your doctor.
The doctor who oversaw my condition at the time was a Rheumatologist. I hope
you find some relief. xx
