I wanna get better, I'm tired of feeling this way.

I want to be like I used to be. Or at least better than i am now. I want to get out of this foggy 24/7 state of mind. Any tips that can help? I can't go to therapy rn due to cost and a few other things but any tips that help till i can do therapy?

There have been studies where people do CBT from a book or an internet site rather than a therapist. It doesn't seem to be as good as one-on-one therapy, but it does provide significant benefits. I've done both, I saw a therapist a long time ago, but it was a different style of therapy because CBT wasn't so common then. A few years after that I read a book about CBT (David Burns, The Feeling Good Handbook) and did some of the exercises. Both helped in different ways.

If you can't see a therapist you could always try doing the exercises from a book instead.

Hello friend, illness comes from two things, not enough good stuff and too much bad stuff. Our farmers have messed up the food so that it has few nutrients. We are all under nourished. Then they spray it with toxins that we ingest. So our food has little nourishment and is loaded with toxins.

Medicine just treats symptoms, and never gets at the root cause of anything. It's like snipping the wires of the engine light to fix a problem with the engine.

Here is what you must do:

1. Eliminate all prepared foods, cook everything from scratch

2. Don't buy anything that has more than one ingredient

3. Don't eat out, they use the cheapest ingredients

4. Buy as much organic food as possible

5. Make sure you eat these three nutrient dense foods often, every day would be OK....

Eggs - 4 per day - free range - organic

Sweet potato, not yams, one per day

Broccoli every day - organic

Powdered "reds" i.e. berries, beets, etc.

Each of these foods is a nutrition powerhouse, putting them all together gives you great overlap.

For supplements I take 2-3 tablespoons of Carlson's Cod Liver Oil - get from Amazon. I take a digestive enzyme and probiotics.

This is a lifestyle change for the better. Good luck to you.
