Hi - I haven't had botox yet but I'm seeing a hospital consultant in August to ask about it. When I asked my gp she actually laughed until I showed her a leaflet from the pain clinic which said they do it. My dentist was immediately sympathetic and had heard of the treatment. I'll let you know what happens.

Krasykat-

I receive Botox for my migraines and Xeomin (which is almost identical to Botox) for muscle spacity & trigeminal neuralgia. I use some of the Xeomin in my jaw and yes, it does help. It won’t cure TMJ, grinding or clinching, but it will help with all and the pain. I HIGHLY recommend it!
