Ct scan wait and anxiety

I have had stomach pain and had a cat scan. It has been 2 weeks would I have been contacted if they had found anything. Anxiety in over drive

I'm not a doctor of any kind but have had my share of tests.

With imagining like yours, a radiologist will review your scans pretty quickly (a day maybe) to rule out any emergent or serious issue that needs immediate attention.

Having not heard back for 2 weeks is a good thing. If it were something serious you would be contacted pretty fast.

Can you call up your Dr for the results? Hopefully you have an appointment scheduled. If not, definitely make one.

What I’ve experienced is that bad news comes quickly and negative results are last.

You would have heard by now if anything was wrong.
