Got prescribed 50mg but can come up to 100. Hopefully that will help me realize my life is great here and I don't need to move back. Here's hoping ppl.

I just wanted you to know that sertraline is Zoloft and that I took 50 mgs., for around 15 years in my late 20's and 30's for PMS, then I thought well I will just stop taking them now. I am still on them because it's to painful to get off. I am 67 now and have tried a slow taper many times, but when I do my eyes get very bleary and my head gets so tight (like a belt around the top of it) that I can't get off. Have managed to get it down to 12 mgs., per day, but that as far as I can go. If you don't really need them, I would rethink all this, but whose to say, If they are really helping, it might be worth it. God bless.
