Leaving Setraline

Hi All

I am on setreline 1.5 year 100mg, now since 3 weeks docs told me to come off of these, started from 0.75 one week, 0.50mg and 0.25mg nw, my mood swings is terrible and pinch niddles in my arms, I am trying to concentrate on somthing while i have these sympthoms, Does any of you had already while you were coming off ?

I’ve never came off of any of my medications that I’ve been taking or awhile so I’m not sure how you feel exactly but I definitely think you should talk to your doctor! I know how starting medications can cause all sorts of problems so I can’t imagine what coming off of them is like. But yeah, if you haven’t already you should talk to your doctor and make sure it doesn’t get worse. Good for you for being ready to come off your medication! I hope it works out and you feel better soon!

Sounds like withdrawal effects most people experience when coming off SSRIs, maybe your dose has been cut down too quickly. Speak to your Doctor about it if it's bothersome.

Be careful. I thought I didn’t need it anymore. Slowly but surely the anxiety crept back in and now i’m back on the meds, dealing with the startup crap 😖

How is setraline working for you...I have been going on 9 months with extreme physical symptoms of anxiety , doctor wants to throw me on zoloft but scared to take them...
