Anxiety

Hi, I have had pneumonia and been off work for 3 weeks, my anxiety has gone through the roof. Felt like a caged animal in my own home, crying, low etc. Waiting for citalopram to kick in. Feel like I am mad!

Loopyloop155 you are not alone. Dealing with anxiety is not easy but is something a person can learn to control thru a trained professional and or trusted friend/family member. I am sorry that you are going thru this difficult time of missing work for 3 weeks as well. Have you gone to the doctor for your pneumonia? Hope you feel better soon. Hugs

Hi, yes have been to the docs, had antibiotics for pneumonia and now have some antidepressants and diazepam until they kick in to see me through. It's getting easier every day, it's just the feelings of being trapped in doors on my own that is my worse fear.
