I am scared and need help

Hello, so today I was good, usual running nose but out of nowhere i start coughing. And I'm coughing so much my chest and throat are kinda hurting. I am coughing so hard that I am getting scared. Should I worry? Or it's just a normal cold that I am over reacting because my anxiety isn't helping this situation making me think that something is wrong and i can die. What should I do?

I think maybe the mucous is making you cough and have irritation in your throat. If you can suck on a drop with mentholatum it may feel better. I also suggest to rub a bit of vicks vapor rub on the bottom of your feet before bed, put on socks after. My momma use to do this when i was little and i have kept doing it ever since and it really works for me.
