By all means that happens. Glazed, blurry, hazey, feeling like I'm looking through
gauze material. The thing is understanding and reassuring yourself that it is caused by being anxious and the muscles in your eyes tensing distorting your vision for a while.
How long do you feel this way?
This only happens to be me when I have a doctor or dental appointment. The whites of my eyes actually get kinda red from the stress. Once I walk out of the doctor's office and on my
way home, all symptoms disappear and the whites of the eyes are once again that, white. This happens every time as relaxed as I may feel while sitting in the waiting room listening to my relaxation tape, my eyes seem to take the brunt of my anxiousness. Go figure. xx
Thanks!
Oh yes. Your adrenaline is flowing in your body when you get anxious. It is more than your body needs and it triggers all these uncomfortable symptoms. Put a cool towel on your pulse points I.e., back of your neck, your wrists etc. slow deep breathes and make your mind think positive thoughts. They say when it happens, picture the image of a STOP sign.
Talk yourself through it with positive thoughts. You are in charge of what your minds focuses on. Keep practicing these tips to see what works best for you. Good luck and let us know how well you are doing.
Thank you so much! x
