HI there I’m new to this group and my name is Annmarie !! I just started taking sertaline 50mg and mad me feel weird the first day but I can’t sleep do people have the same problem xxx

Hi Annmarie I was on sertraline for 4 months had terrible side affects including sleep patterns problems. I asked my doctor if i could try something else he has put me on citalopram. Its only been one day on them, and i feel more comfortable on them. Hope this helps you. Gerrerd

I’ve been taking sertralibe for over a year. Started on 200mg and now down to 50mg as the only effect I’ve ever had from it was that it keeps me awake! Being on 50mg has slowly started to tire me out but not much. I can still be wide awake at 4am. Has your GP given you anything to help relax or sleep as I found to start with that amitryptaline helped but the more I took it the more I got immune to it so now I’m on 125mg of that too. That’s the next bad boy to decrease x
