Again a question about sertraline..as a lot of people said after 8th week the sertraline starts to work and people stop to be anxious... i am now in 8th week and last week i started to be anxious again every day... with short but strong panic attacks.
Is it normal or does it mean that i maybe need stronger amount ? I am on 50mg now

I would get in touch with your doctor and let him know what you are feeling. You would probably benefit from a higher dose. 50 is the lowest recommended dose, so he might want to bump you up to 100.
Marci76, unfortunately with medication, it is not written in stone that after a certain time the anxiety magically disappears. Medication needs fine tuning, sometimes it's with the dose sometimes it's the medication itself. We also can't rely on meds to be the complete answer. Therapy usually goes hand in hand with meds as well as using that time to learn different methods to reduce your anxiety.
Have a talk with your doctor to see what his input is. If it's to keep everything the same, it's then time to work on other techniques to get you through. The meds are just that little break we all need when anxiety has gotten so out of control. Keep us updated on your progress. xx
