Daily dizziness/ motion sickness

Has anyone found any relief from daily dizziness ( swaying sensation), mild nausea and fatigue with any supplements or medications or diet changes? I am already taking magnesium and a b vitamin supplement. All medical reasons ( except ears) ruled out at this time. I also got new glasses recently to rule out vision. I am not sure if this is a side effect of SSRI or anxiety but it is driving me crazy. I think I am getting anxiety because I feel like this.

noemikahle, it's true that the daily feeling that you experience causes fear that causes the daily feeling. Before long you have a cycle of fear begets fear. There is no magic cure whether in meds or diet. However, learning all you can about the Mind/Body connections will help you better understand how they are intertwined. Reading all you can about Anxiety can help as well. But not on Google. Reading Dr. Claire Weekes book will clarify the symptoms you are feeling as anxiety based. Not harmful as scary as they are. It is about Acceptance..Mind over matter per se. Once you can accept that these symptoms are brought on by our mind's negative thoughts you can work on reversing your thought process to a more positive approach.

Get angry at Anxiety, it doesn't deserve the attention we give it. Get back in control by not focusing on the symptoms. Put one foot in front of the other and walk straight and go forward. Don't stay stuck in this fear cycle. If it takes medication as a crutch or bridge for now, then so be it. Along with that therapy can help get you unstuck.

I am actually on meds and had cognitive therapy. I was doing better but I am not sure if my med is wearing off. I am not having panic attacks and still functioning and trying to stay positive. It is just almost impossible to ignore or even get angry when I always feel like I am rocking on a boat and in a daze. I did read Claire Weeks book and it was helpful. I did read some antidepressants and Valium are specifically to help this rocking symptom, I will discuss with psychiatrist. I am frustrated because I was doing better a week ago but I guess it's a roller coaster with anxiety.

noemikahle, sometimes the medications themselves can cause the rocking feeling to become worse. Don't forget they are sedatives especially the Benzos. It is true that after a while they no longer work and the kick back will be withdrawal symptoms even though you are still on them. The brain wants more so a decision needs to be made by you and your doctor as to what the next step will be.

Once you find the right answer for you, the roller coaster effect of Anxiety will/should subside. Good Luck dear x Keep us posted..
