I've been dealing with the same fear only mine involves fear of the fast heart rate. Having once traveled the world twice, in the last two years, I've avoided facing the fear of driving far from home due to the panic feeling. It isn't the way to live. If it's only just started, face it now. From my experience, I've learned that when your life is out of balance, these fears can kick in. When it seems like the symptoms and distances are what you fear, it's actually something else that's happened in your life but you're struggling to find ways to deal with it. The fear is only the symptom.

Cling to God and cling to everyone positive and encouraging. Do your best alleviate as much negativity from your life. When we start to change our thoughts, we start to change.

I myself am on the road to healing from this fear and have come a long way. But, I still have to conquer the distance thing as you mentioned. I know it seems terrifying now but you WILL conquer this. Don't give up and don't give in to fear.
