Sharp pain in chest has just scared me so much now I can't stop panicking about it am 28 years old keep thinking it's my heart please help

I can't handle this anymore 1 Minot I feel okay and now suddenly I got a pain in my chest now am dizzy and panicking about it please some help me

Hello. I'm sorry you are not feeling well. Try getting a glass of water and sipping on it. Maybe even eat a little something with protein, some eggs or peanut butter for example.

I understand what it's like to have that feeling and then to get anxious and panic from it. The best thing you can do, even though it is sometimes difficult, is to try to get your mind off of your panic/bad thoughts and on to something else. Some things you could try to distract yourself with include: watch something, read, play a game on your phone, get a coloring book and color, do a task or household chore you have been putting off, call someone and talk to them. There are many other things you could do as a distraction.

I've been dealing with anxiety for over 10 years. It isn't fun when our bodies feel weird and then our minds over analyze and cause us to think of negative or bad things. If the pain continues or worsens, go to the doctor/ER, if not, I'M SURE YOU WILL BE OKAY. THESE FEELINGS WILL PASS. Sometimes our bodies just do weird things, and there's not much to worry over. I sometimes have this type of health based catastrophic thinking. Hell, I'm awake right now because I can't sleep and my stomach was upset; it was making me anxious as well. We all have good and bad days. Remember that you are a warrior and you can conquer the bad days.

Try watching The Honest Guys videos on YouTube. They have sleep and meditation talk downs that can help you feel more relaxed. Also, try looking up positive affirmation videos based around anxiety, they can help to replace your negative thoughts with positive ones.

I actually felt terrible and had the same chest pains.. i thought i was gonna die but you made my evening better thanks!

The chest pains and feeling like you can't breathe well are scary and very bothersome symptoms of anxiety that, I think, we have all battled with at one point or another. Finding someone to talk to is about the best way to help get my mind off of them when they happen to me. Something to keep the mind busy and calm!

I also have PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). It is an endocrine disorder that tends to make me not feel very good most days. I have to take meds to help with insulin resistance and lately I've been struggling with my sugar being out of whack. It really is scary when you have low blood sugar issues. Not feeling good causes me to have anxiety/panic attacks most of the time. It is no fun. I just keep reminding myself, no matter how crappy I've felt or how many times I've imagined that I might die, because my mind sometimes goes through worst case scenarios, that I've made it through each time! Still alive and breathing. Even though some days are hard, that's enough to be thankful for.
