second day of citalopram. cant sleep, cant eat, dilusional , hallucinating , numbness in my legs , tired , nausea, emotional and numb ... positive storys on how it gets better please

Yeah, thats natural mate, Ive been on citalopram a few times in life. Take it one day at a time mate, give it a few weeks and you'll be feeling how you want to feel. Just remember, everything you are feeling is expected, ive been through it myself, its normal. Try and get out of your head as much as you can, I watched movies, badass tv shows, video games, do things that you like doing and that keeps your mind busy, you'll get through it mate, drinking water when you wake up and take it easy on yourself, as much as you can anyway. if youve ogt any questions, please, let me know. Good man, so many good shows out there, I would suggest some but were all different, plus theres so many I wouldnt know where to begin. You on Netflix? I download torrents. i did join netlix for the free month to watch the new Trailer Park boys, but then cancelled it end of month, I just like downloading, dunno why.

Hi K16AB, Just a short message, I am not on Citalopram now but go with what Lucas29 says and you will be fine. Like all Anxiety and Depression medication it has too be given time to work which can be up to 3 weeks.

I am not a doctor just a sufferer lol.

That's scary! You didn't have any of those symptoms before the pills? I would call the doctor for peace of mind

Yes it does get better! These side effects will subside. I agree with Lucas. Find some great shows on Netflix and drink lots of water.
