Update on medication

Hi all,

Just wanted everyone to know that I am doing well on Lexapro in case anyone was thinking of going on meds and was too scared to at this time.

Did you try other meds? How long have you been on it? Did it take away the anxiety and depression? Any side effects? My citalopram quit working and doc put me on Prozac and it is not working; it's actually making things worse. Thanks for the positive note. Just wondering what your symptoms were, and how bad, before Lexapro started helping.

Hello,

I've had some insomnia at night but decided to take the medication in the morning. I've also had some increased gas but other than that no major side effects. This is my second week on the medication so I have not had a significant effect on my anxiety levels yet but apparently it takes about s mknth to see the effects. Good luck!

And I have not tried other medications.
