Not long was I told that I had bipolar its hit me hard any help appricated xx

Hello

When we have any Mental Health problems and just the word Mental Health can make some people fear because they think it sounds bad but what it means is we have an illness and it is our minds that are ill like others can have a heart condition etc illness can affect any part of the body including the mind and it is nothing to fear or be ashamed of even though it can come as a shock for some or as a relief for others as they want answers so they do not feel they are going mad and been diagnosed gives us those answers

I realize this all must seem very bewildering , maybe you are full of fear how you will manage but you will

So many people are diagnosed with Bipolar and with medication counselling and support it can be managed and people live a normal fulfilled life and I hope you are getting the right support because I believe with that in place you will live a fulfilled life to

Have you some close family or friends that you can talk to that will be there to help you come to terms with this and help you ?

You can always come and talk on here , someone will get round to replying and even if we don't have all the answers we do not judge and we to have compassion as we all have or do suffer with some kind of Mental Health issues if it me Anxiety /Depression or something else

Not sure if you live in the UK but if you do there was a good program on this week called " Me & My Mental Health " it was on channel 4 or 5 , if you have downloading on sky or something you could watch it as there were people talking about their Mental Health problems including Bipolar and how they felt and coped it might give you some insight as they were all coping and getting on with life
