So I been on buspar for 4 weeks and 3 days but it really has not work for me.. Has anyone taken this before.?

Hi there! My name is Heather and I suffer from really bad anxiety which has lately made me depressed. I was on Buspar for about 8 months. For me I would say that it made me feel spaced out and detached. I also had dizziness for like 2 hrs after taking it every day. I was actually just switched to celexa two days ago so I'm not sure how this med will work yet. Generally the rule is giving a med 4-6 weeks to see its effect and of its not working for you I would try another one

I tried lexapro yesterday and had bad side effects I am very sensitive I'll give it 8 weeks more

It did nothing for me. The doc keep telling me I had to give it time. 4 mths was more than enough. I got a new doctor. I now take .25 mg Xanax as needed. Its a Really low dose but it takes the edge off. Problem is that no one wants to use benzodiazepines anymore. Hope you find what works for you.
