Hey guys I've been curious about one thing. I've been dealing with anxiety for 5 years overall now and lately since january 29th it has gotten worse. Before it was just me thinking (what if I'll die in my sleeps) now it's just everyday anxiety overthinking about anything which frightens me. I feel as if I'm not myself anymore which feels scary. I don't take any medications and I have a psychologist appointment on June 30th. I want to know if there is anyone else who feels like this everyday? It makes me think I'll go mental.
Feeling like not myself.: Hey guys I've been... - Anxiety Support
Feeling like not myself.
Hello
Be reassured you are not going mental
This is how anxiety keeps control over us , it starts with maybe one thing and then it is common that it starts adding more making sure " it " has the power over us leaving us feeling like you do and of course the more we worry which is easier said than done I know not to but the more it stays in control
I am so pleased to read on that you have an appointment with a psychologist , I think you will really get a lot from this and it will be a huge help and getting to the bottom of why you are suffering with anxiety and then working out the best way for you to move forward and you will
I hope you will let us know how you find it , it is not a quick cure and you have to put the work in and work with them but I believe if you get a good psychologist it will be one of the best things you can do
Take Care x
I've been trying my best to control it, it's really hard not the most easiest thing to ever do. I've been doing yoga, breathing practices and trying to keep myself calm by drinking calm teas or so. I don't want too drink pills because I've had taken xanax for some time and it just made me feel worse.
You are doing all you can for now and should feel good about yourself for doing so , all we can do is try and once you start getting that support I am sure and hope you will start finding it easier
Meanwhile you can come on and vent how you feel with people that may not always have the answers but do understand x
Thank you. You've made my day better
