Stopping medication

After numerous doctor appointments I haven't took any Propanolol for last few days.for me I found after 3 years of using it,it was more a hindrance than a help.i was a little anxious in bed last night but it was my first full day without it.anyone else stopped taking them if so does it get better in time.x

Lynne75, not a good idea to stop Propanolol or any other blood pressure med after 3 years. I hope your doctor knows about it. Not to scare you but It could give you some real bad effects. I hope you will be okay.

Hi thanks for your reply this was all done under my doctors supervision,because I was only taking 10mg a day for anxiety he said it's a medication I can just stop and take if and when needed.i took my last one on Tuesday was quite anxious that night but I can honestly say I feel better now,but I know it's there as a back up should I get anxious days X
