I woke up last night feeling like a had something stuck in my chest. It took me a while to get back to sleep as I was fully focused on my breathing. Today I have felt short of breath all day! I don't feel like I am panicked but I am definitely noticing my shortness of breath and it's scary. Would I go to see a doctor or is this just anxiety? I also seem to struggle with mucus and it feels like it makes it harder to breath. I hate this.

I could have written that myself I'm sitting here thinking much the same shall I go to doctors or is it anxiety. My throat feels like something is blocking it phlegm I think my tongue feels swollen and a bit sore . I don't know what to do but in my heart I know I had similar before but it really is getting to me today I don't really want to go to the doctors to be told it's anxiety. Then the what if thought runs through my mind.
Health anxiety sucks.
I have made an appointment for later today. I can't deal with it anymore, I need to get some peace of mind. I will let you know how I get on. x

So they are doing blood tests and a chest x ray next week. I'm sure that will keep me worrying for the next few days! The viscous circle never ends.
