Yes give it time... It can take quite a while I'm afraid but hopefully if you're on the right meds it will help... If for any reason you feel really poorly go back to GP cause there are lots of meds you can try... Just all the switching isn't great especially when your low already! Think I tried 3 or 4 b4 I finally settled and it took a fair while but that was a long time ago and things have moved on , hope you get there good luck x

I have been on Sertraline for over 3 months now, and I do find somedays I can cope and others I can't. I considering asking my GP for a different medication but it will mean having to wait several weeks for them to take effect again 😔

I was put on Mirtazapine a few weeks ago and after about 3/4 weeks felt fine, so I cut back to 7.5mg (halving the pill). Felt great for about 10 days then 'wham' - never felt so fragile and in such a dark place before. I immediately put myself back on 15 mg and booked an appointment with my GP for later this week. The moral of the story is don't change your meds without medical advice, as changing can really muck up your serotonin levels and it's harder to climb back to were you where.
