hi can any one relate to taking sertraline and not sleeping :( xx

Hiya I am on sertraline but doctor also prescribed mertazapin witch has a light sedative that helps me sleep but I'm starting too feel unwell again. 😞

I found the combined mirtazapine and sertraline helps me to cope better, also I found they can take several weeks to work, might be worth persevering with them

I find taking sertraline in mornings is best, it can keep you awake taking it before bed

I get sleepy straight away after taken it. I like to take like an hour before bed...sometimes i might wake up though in some panic like as you do from a nightmare. Hopefully will pass. Xx
