Chest pain

Does anyone else experience chest pain in the middle on the chest area it really hurt been to hospital loads and ecg and blood tests all clear could this be anxiety??

Hello

Anxiety can give us so many physical symptoms that it can be really hard to believe sometimes but as you have had all the tests that have come back fine then I would try & be reassured it is not your heart , could even be indigestion ?

Over the years I have had pains in my chest as well as every where else all due to anxiety but if I can accept it is my anxiety then they do tend to give up & move on as anxiety loves it when we give whatever it is causing us attention but hates when we ignore it and that is when things start to settle down

Thankyou I have body aches fatige and headaches regular and think its anxiety but I do worry and stress alot

Since you have been to the hospital numerous times as well as having had EKG and blood tests, it most likely boils down to "chest wall" pain. In other words, it's coming from the muscle tightness in your chest rather than your heart. It can very well come from acid reflux. Your doctor should be able to have you try an antacid to see if that's the problem. If it is the chest wall, what I do is put a warm moist towel for a few minutes just to relax the tenseness. Hope you find a solution.
