Anxiety cant kill right? But it can high our BP. High BP can affect hearts is anxiety can affect heart? Im so scared. Im 18 With anxiety. Please answer my question

No anxiety cannot kill you & when you are anxious your blood pressure can go up slightly , however as much as we feel anxious we do not stay in a continuous state of anxiety 24/7 so more of the time our blood pressure will be perfectly normal & therefore will not affect your heart especially in someone as young as you are

Hope this reassures you a little & maybe if it is really worrying you next time you go & see your Doctor ask them & hopefully they will put your mind at ease x

Hi. I had anxiety when I was just 18. I recovered and had many years anxiety free. I should have managed my stress levels and now have anxiety issues again - I'm 62! You are young and strong, have no fear. Go out and live your life - even with the anxiety - and it will leave you.
