Anxiety attacks out of the blue

Hi, I am new to this site and I just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a bit about my experiences.

I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism when I was pregnant with my youngest son back in 1993 during my first trimester of pregnancy with him. Doctors told me he could have been born with Downs Syndrome or I could have lost him had it not been for an early diagnosis. I have been on thyroid meds since then but my dosage had to be adjusted a few times. I also started suffering from depression and I take Celexa for that now. This weekend I started having horrible anxiety attacks and some of the symptoms some of you have described on this site were what I experienced. I went to the doctor this morning to check into my issues and she doubled my dose of Antidepressant and also re-checked my thyroid just to make sure. I just wanted to pass this along just in case someone else may feel helpless and doesn't know what to do. Get your Tryroid checked and see if antidepressants could be the culprit.
