Hi I joined this group yesterday as I feel I have been living with anxiety for several years, I didn't really understand my symptoms until I was about 17/18, i'm now 20 and too afraid to speak to my GP and my family. I often have bursts of anxiety when I'm about to go out somewhere with groups of people or friends I don't know so well, therefore I limit the trips and outings I go on. For years I would wake up each morning feeling sick and be sick and I would be in and out the bathroom up to 10 times and cry not wanting to go. It often felt I had knots in my stomach.
